Abruzzo Wine & Foodie Experience Day

Pescara – Gran Sasso National Park – Ofena – Wine & Olive Oil Tastings

Special Meals & Gala Dinner

• 09:30am: Meet in Pescara to start a day of amazing scenery and fabulous wine tastings around the Abruzzo region
• Our first destination will be the majestic valleys of the Gran Sasso d’Italia mountain range, as we visit our great Hosts at Cataldi Madonna for a visit, a wine tasting and a proper introduction to the world of Abruzzo wines!
• After our visit we head to a nearby Agriturismo to enjoy a special lunch that takes the concept of Km Zero or from farm to table to a whole new level with our Host Alfonso and his Chefs!
• Our multiple course lunch will be beautifully paired with fine organic wines from the grapes grown in the surrounding vineyards
• After lunch, we will reach the beautiful Valle Reale Winery in Popoli, where our lovely hosts will introduce us to some of the most exclusive organic Abruzzo wines in stunning surroundings!
• 6:00pm: In the late afternoon we will head towards the town of Bucchianico for an olive oil tasting experience at lovely Francesca’s passionately restored 17^th century olive mill
• A short stroll down Bucchianico’s narrow alleyways and we are all in for yet another treat as dinner nearby will also be an incredible wine-tasting experience!
• Our sommelier Claudio will open his exclusive cantina for a wine-tasting aperitif and gala dinner with a delicious selection of local savouries!
• Late evening return to our Meeting Point
