Abruzzo Wine & Foodie Experience Day

Pescara countryside – Vintage Fiat 500 - Wine Tasting – Special Lunch

• 9:30am: Meet in the beautiful Piazza of the lovely hilltop town of Pianella to start a day of amazing scenery and experiences around this part of Abruzzo
• Welcome drink aperitif while we meet our Fiat 500 Crew from the local Club and start familiarizing with our vintage Fiat 500’s: walk around them, sit inside, open the canvas soft top and turn it on!
• Our drive will lead us through the lovely rolling hills of the Pescara countryside as we reach our first destination at the the nearby Cantine Bosco, where Giovanna will guide us through their impressive Wine Museum followed by a guided tasting
• A lovely drive by vintage Fiat 500 to reach our lovely villa in the nearby village of Cavaticchi where it will be … sleeves up for a hands-on cooking demo class with our local Chef to disclose the secrets of fresh pasta, ravioli, tomato sauces and the very best of fine Abruzzese and Italian cuisine.
• Time permitting, we will  also indulge in the preparation of desserts: Tiramisù, pizzelle or cantucci (the real Italian almond biscotti!)
• Late lunch in the company of a local wine Grower to sample the fruits of our labour over a wine tasting
• Late afternoon at leisure or chance to explore Pescara’s vibrant city centre and Promenade for a gelato
• Return to our Meeting Point
