DAY ONE – Wednesday (275km)
Rome – Familiarize with our Supercars – Valle Reale Winery - Villa Danilo
Hotel
- 9:30am: Transfer from Hotel in Rome to pick up our fabulous Supercars in Rome
- We will enjoy an espresso together as we start familiarizing with our beautiful supercars: walk
around them, sit inside to set our ideal position, grab the wheel, check the settings and admire the V8, V10 and V12 power units…it’s an intense
moment…till we rev up the engines!
- After getting to grips with paddle-shifting, with the car setup through Ferrari’s “Manettino” and Lamborghini’s electronic systems and with power management to tame all those horses, departure towards Abruzzo as we
enter the A25 autostrada and drive along one of the most scenic landscapes in Italy through the Apennines
- Before
reaching our hotel, our first stop will be at the beautiful Valle Reale Winery in Popoli, where our lovely hosts will introduce us to some of the most exclusive
organic Abruzzo wines in stunning surroundings!
- A walk
through the vineyards before sitting for lunch accompanied by highly selected wines knowledgably introduced and described by our hosts
- After lunch
we head towards the beautiful 4-Star Villa Danilo Hotel in the heart of the Maiella National Park
- Tonight we will be treated to local delicacies before
a good night’s rest
DAY TWO – Thursday (105km)
Driving, Revving up, Exploring
Fallo – Civitaluparella - Montenerdomo – Gessopalena
Medieval Castle of Roccascalegna – Veggie Masterclass - Pizza Masterclass
- After breakfast, it will be time for our first drive through the Maiella National Park
- The route this morning is panoramic, twisty and we’ll have the roads to ourselves as we head to the hilltop of town of Gessopalena,
“the town built on chalk”
- Our drive will take us through the villages of Fallo, Civitaluparella and Montenerodomo along
gracefully curvacious and scenic
roads
- Our stop in Gessopalena will be to meet our local host for an aperitif with the admiring locals followed by a visit to
its Old Town
- Then we take on a panoramic drive along a set of straights and curves towards the impressive medieval Castle of Roccascalegna for a
quick visit
- Lunch will be special: as we drive
along straight, fast roads and tunnels (ideal for the acoustic symphony
of our revving V8s,
V10s and V12s!), as soon as we turn off the main road we will be met by our local
cowboy Pino who will guide us to his lovely Agriturismo Il Mulino (The Watermill)…an idyllic setting surrounded only by the rhythm of
nature!
- Time permitting, our
hosts and Chef Mirella will entertain us in a hands-on veggie cookery Masterclass
- Our lesson will
cover the preparation of vegetarian specialities using the best local produce, greens, mushrooms and truffles…of course!
- Return to Villa
Danilo and afternoon at leisure to relax and/or enjoy Villa Danilo’s lovely swimming pool
- Evening
pizza making Masterclass…….ready to spin and bake in a proper wood-burning oven??
- Dinner at Villa

DAY THREE – Friday (30km)
Pasta making & Sauces session – Truffle Hunting in style!
- After breakfast, it will be sleeves up!!.... to disclose the secrets of fresh pasta and tomato sauce with our host
chefs and Mamma Annina
- Hands-on traditional Italian cooking class
- Lunch to sample the
fruits of our labour
- In the late
afternoon, we will drive our cars toward a secret spot for yet another special treat… an authentic truffle hunt with the local
hunters
- Our destination will
be our hosts’ most secret spots in Abruzzo to unbury the precious underground delicacy… let’s cross fingers for good luck!
- We’ll take the long
way back to Villa Danilo and drive along other “creative” roads
- Dinner will be back
at our hotel with Risotto al tartufo…we’ll have our own fresh truffles!
DAY FOUR - Saturday (120km)
Cruising along
the “Costa dei Trabocchi” – Fish Lunch
Agriturismo “La
Rustica” or Antica Dimora
- This morning we say goodbye to our hosts at Villa
Danilo and head to the coast
- Straight, open, wide roads and tunnels: what a chance to put your Supercar through its paces this
morning!!
- Once we reach the beautiful Costa dei
Trabocchi…it’ll be all about cruising in style!
- Arrival in the beautiful town of
Fossacesia for a quick stop to visit its XII century Abbey of S. Giovanni in Venere overlooking the stunning Golfo di Venere and one of the oldest
olive trees in Italy
- Today’s lunch will be alfresco
with the best fish from the Adriatic Sea!
- Our hosts will offer us fine, yet simple,
fish dishes…a tantalizing gastronomic experience!!
- After lunch, it’s back in our Supercars for a nice drive to Agriturismo La Rustica or Antica Dimora in the peaceful surroundings and
sweeping hills of the Pescara countryside
- Welcome drink by the pool
- A stroll through the nearby vineyards sipping a glass or two of special Prosecco made with local grapes
- Dinner at the Agriturismo La Rustica or Antica Dimora and a good night’s rest
DAY FIVE – Sunday (175km)
Bucchianico-Olive Oil&Wine tasting-Sulmona-Transfer to Rome
- After breakfast, we say goodbye to our hosts at Agriturismo La Rustica or Antica Dimora and head towards the hilltop town of
Bucchianico for an olive oil tasting experience at lovely Francesca’s passionately restored olive mill,
Cantinarte
- We will park our fabulous cars in
the Piazza where the locals will certainly come over to admire our Supercars and maybe ask for autographs!
- A short stroll down
Bucchianico’s narrow alleyways and we are all in for yet another treat as
lunch nearby will also be an incredible wine-tasting experience!
- Our sommelier Claudio will open his exclusive cantina for a wine-tasting aperitif and lunch with a delicious selection of local
savouries!
- No worries if you have enjoyed your wine a lot!......we’re there for you!
- After lunch, we enter the A24 Autostrada and head toward the classically beautiful Italian town of Sulmona, world renowned for its
confetti
- Drive along
Sulmona’s elegant Corso Ovidio (trying not to wake up the locals!)
- A leisurely
stroll through this historical village to visit its shops and Sulmona’s Piazza Garibaldi towered by the historical Roman Aqueduct
- We recommend a
stop at Fernanda and Giovanna’s pretty honey-shop by the piazza to purchase lovely and tasty special gifts and for a sweet
honey-tasting
- We will enjoy a trendy aperitivo sipping a glass of Prosecco amid the buzz of Sulmona’s “passeggiata sul
Corso”
- Then it is back in our Supercars and we head to Rome along the Autostrada
- Stop at our drop-off point before entering the Rome region and private transfer to
your hotel in Rome…arrivederci

supercars require deposits as a pre-requisite to be driven by guests on our itineraries.
The itineraries are fully escorted, all highly
organized and led by our tour leaders in the leading vehicle and in the closing vehicle, which means that every aspect is highly controlled for maximum enjoyment on our selected
itineraries.
Deposit amounts may vary from vehicle to vehicle
and can be paid either by card, bank transfer or in cash and will be refunded at the end of the experience.
